The Hotel Tisza in Szolnok is a historic gem overlooking the picturesque Tisza River. Our room with hardwood floors and Baroque furniture exuded old-world charm. The staff were attentive and accommodating, even securing a ground floor room for my friend with mobility difficulties. We enjoyed a welcome drink at the bar and a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant with a view. The thermal baths were a highlight, offering relaxation and rejuvenation. The hotel's grandeur, although faded, hinted at its glorious past, inviting dreams of restoration. A budget-friendly option for a glimpse into Szolnok's rich history and thermal traditions.
